Spider Plant 6"

from $26.00

Formally called Chlorophytum Comosum, Spider Plants are highly adaptable, low-maintenance plants that have a reputation of being *almost* impossible to kill. With variegated white and green narrow arching leaves, Spider Plants bring zany, bright energy wherever they go. Spider plants can live in lower light, however, they will thrive and grow very quickly in bright indirect light. Spider Plants like to dry out between waterings and would appreciate some leaf misting to increase humidity. Spider Plants are fun, low-maintenance plants that add quirky plant personality to any home or office.

Prospective Plant Parent: Spider Plants are wonderful for beginners and those who love quick-growing, eccentric-looking plants!

Difficulty: Unlike real spiders, these plants won’t bite! (Super easy and beginner-proof.)

Lighting: Spider Plants can survive in low light, however, they will thrive and grow very quickly in bright indirect light. The brighter the indirect light, the more striking the leaf striping will be. Avoid direct light that can sunburn and scorch the leaves.

Watering: Native to southern Africa, Spider Plants like a good watering, and prefer to dry out completely before being watered again.

Humidity: Your choice! Spider Plants can survive in low humidity, but they will grow faster with a bit more moisture in the air. Mist leaves weekly if you want.

Temperature: Your Spider Plant will grow best in temperatures between 65-90 degrees.
