Prospective Plant Parent: This is a sturdy, independent plant ideal for hands-off parents or people with low plant-esteem, but we believe in you! Just don’t overwater and let it grow. Boom you’re good to go!

Difficulty: Easy-peasy-Sansevieria-squeezy! (Super easy.)

Lighting: Sansevierias prefer moderate to bright indirect light, but they can also grow in low light and be acclimated to full sun. Basically, you can put this plant anywhere and it will be just fine.

Watering: Sansevierias are native to the deserts of West Africa, which is not known for its rainfall, so they do not require much water, especially in the winter. When dry, water directly on the soil and then allow for the soil to completely dry out before watering again. Watch out for overwatering.

Humidity: No misting necessary for these arid desert plants.

Temperature: Sansevierias can survive some pretty low temps, but they grow best in temperatures between 65-80 degrees.
