from $17.00

Part of the large Araceae family, Anthuriums, also called Laceleaf plants, are lovely little plants that sprout heart-shaped leaves and similarly shaped, sturdy flowers. These ‘flowers’ are called Spathes and they are actually modified leaves, not flowers, that can last for months on your plant! Popular among flower lovers, Anthuriums need a little extra attention and love to thrive.  Anthuriums prefer warm, well-lit areas with lots of humidity and damp soil during growing months. Anthuriums bloom love and add pops of color to every well-lit home and office.

Prospective Plant Parent: Anthuriums are wonderful plants for heart-loving romantics looking to give a bit of attention to their plant babies in exchange for long-lasting, colorful flowers.

Difficulty: Intermediate. Your Anthurium can be needy, but when you put in some love, you will get heart-shaped leaves and long-lasting flowers in return.

Lighting: Anthuriums love bright indirect sunlight. The more indirect light, the more colorful flowers!

Watering: During the growing months, March through September, keep your Anthurium soil damp, but not soggy.

Humidity: Anthuriums love humidity and would enjoy a daily leaf misting to keep humidity levels high.

Temperature: Anthuriums love to be warm, ideally kept in temperatures between 70-90 degrees. However, they can adapt to slightly cooler household temperatures.
